Terms of Use

By accessing or using 24hrplumber.london (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered members, and any other users of the Site.

24HR Plumber London is an online directory that connects homeowners and businesses in London with verified plumbing and gas fitting tradespeople ("Members"). We do not ourselves provide plumbing or gas fitting services. We are not a party to any agreement between a customer and a tradesperson found through the Site, and we accept no liability for the quality, safety, or outcome of any work carried out.

To be listed in the directory you must register as a Member. By registering you confirm that:

• All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• You hold all licences, registrations (including Gas Safe where applicable), and insurance required by law to carry out the services you advertise.
• You will keep your listing information up to date.
• You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Membership is available on a monthly (£10/month) or annual (£100/year) subscription basis, billed in advance. During any promotional free period, no payment is required until the free period ends.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time via your member dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing members.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

All new member listings are subject to approval by our team before appearing in the directory. We reserve the right to decline or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including where we believe information is inaccurate, misleading, or where the member does not meet our standards. Declined applications will receive a refund of any payment made for the current period.

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your listing or account.
• Advertise services you are not qualified or licensed to provide.
• Use the Site to spam, harass, or contact other users without their consent.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce directory data for commercial purposes without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable UK law or regulation.

When a customer submits an enquiry through the Site, their contact details are shared with the relevant member(s) for the purpose of responding to that enquiry. We are not responsible for how members handle customer data received through the Site. Members must comply with UK GDPR when processing customer personal data.

All content on the Site — including text, design, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to 24HR Plumber London and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written consent. Member listings remain the intellectual property of the respective member; by submitting a listing you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Site and in related marketing materials.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 24HR Plumber London shall not be liable for:

• The quality, safety, or outcome of any work carried out by a member found through the Site.
• Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on information in a member's listing.
• Any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from use of the Site.
• Interruptions to the Site caused by maintenance, technical failure, or circumstances beyond our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

We may suspend or terminate your account and listing at any time if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or if we reasonably believe your continued membership poses a risk to customers or to the integrity of the directory. Where termination is due to a breach by you, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify registered members by email at least 14 days in advance.
